Thrilled to announce our New Year’s Training programme Jan-Mar 2020! We’ve done our best to respond to Chesterfield community organisation priorities from our conversations and visits. Courses on offer are:
Volunteer Management Training
Tuesday 21st January 2020

This course will:
help delegates to understand the legal obligations and considerations for looking after volunteers well
talk about best practice guidelines and how to support volunteers in being enthusiastic contributors to your team
guide on how to tackle volunteer-related challenges
Delivered by: Jenny Raschbauer
Jenny has been a volunteer or managed volunteers for nearly twenty years within many varied organisations. She has a passion for involving volunteers in all aspects of running an organisation and supporting individuals to grow and develop within their roles. In a previous role, working for the National Trust, she delivered Volunteer Management training regionally. She holds a teaching and learning level 3 qualification.

Emergency First Aid at Work

About: Attendees will receive a 3 year Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate on completion of this training.

Kate is a PR and communications consultant specialising in the charity and public sectors. She has previously worked as Head of Communications for Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity in London for nine years. Since going freelance, using the name Well Read PR, she has provided marketing and PR support to YoungDementia Homes, Breathe Arts Health Research and Good Things Foundation, amongst others. Kate has the Chartered Institute of Pubic Relations Diploma and the Communications, Advertising and Marketing Certificate.
